Navio Technology Enables Fox Music to Deliver Downloads of Video Game Score of Hit TV Series '24'
CUPERTINO, Calif., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Navio Systems, Inc. (www.navio.com), the leading provider of rights-based commerce solutions, today announced that they have teamed with Fox Music to offer the Original Digital Score for the video game version of the hit Fox TV series "24."
Set between seasons two and three, "24: The Game" is a new day-in-the-life of Jack Bauer and the members of the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU). "24: The Game" is an action-adventure title with more than 60 missions including driving, gun fights, stealth, satellite tracking and interrogation.
The full symphonic game score, written by the Emmy-winning "24" series composer, Sean Callery, is now available exclusively through the Fox Music website (www.foxmusic.com), powered by Navio's digital commerce engine. The score features eight tracks composed for "24: The Game" by Sean Callery, and performed by London's Nimrod Studio Orchestra featuring players from classic Hollywood film scores.
The Fox Music website features the work of acclaimed composer Sean Callery, in addition to content from other FOX TV, film, sports, and news programs. Callery brings his best to the "24" video game score, following his 2003 Emmy award-winning score of the "24" TV series.
Navio enables content owners to easily distribute digital content direct to consumers via any customer touch point (web or mobile), while protecting the rights of the content owner. When consumers purchase content from Navio-enabled sites such as the Fox Music website, the right to that content is stored in a convenient "digital locker." Consumers can access, download, redeliver, and manage the rights to their entire digital locker collection (e.g., music, videos, ringtones, games) from any web-enabled device, regardless of where they purchased their content.
"Navio's rights-based approach gives consumers the freedom to buy the rights to their content once and play it on any compatible device," explains Stefan Roever, Navio's chief executive officer and founder. "Users can access their content collection from anywhere -- whether home or office, PC or mobile."
