Save the World Air Loses Chairman Edward L. Masry

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Save the World Air, Inc. is sad to report that Chairman Edward L. Masry, 73, succumbed to complications from diabetes in Thousand Oaks, California on Monday, December 5, 2005 at 11:30 p.m. Mr. Masry's wife, Joey, and their five children were by his side. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.

In October 2001, Masry became a director of Save the World Air, Inc., and subsequently served as its Chief Executive Officer until October of this year. In that position, he led the company through its research and development program into production and sales, and has positioned SWA to be a leader in solving many of the world's environmental problems. Masry also oversaw the establishment of SWA's seasoned management team, which continues to run the company.

Masry, the Senior Partner in the law firm of Masry & Vititoe, was known as an environmental hero and a man who set records. The movie, "Erin Brockovich" was based on the legal victory of Masry and his famous colleague, Erin Brockovich, against Pacific Gas & Electric resulting in the largest monetary settlement on record. Ms. Brockovich is SWA's Vice President of Environmental Affairs.
