Trident's SVP(TM) EX Video Processor Powers Nexgen's New 37-inch LCD TV

(NASDAQ:TRID), a worldwide leader in the development of advanced digital TV technology for the consumer digital video marketplace, today announced that Nexgen Mediatech Inc., Taiwan's largest LCD TV system manufacturer, is using Trident's SVP(TM) EX ten-bit video processor that features the Digital Cinema Reality Engine (DCRe(TM)) to power its new 37-inch LCD TV. The new 37-inch model is now available in the UK's largest consumer electronics retail outlets.
