VH1 Classic To Deliver Holiday Cheer Throughout Christmas Day to Families of
Sailors Aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz
Classic Music Network to Air Music Video
Dedications from Sailors
VH1 Classic will celebrate the holiday spirit throughout Christmas Day by bringing some of the men and women on board the U.S.S. Nimitz a little closer to their families.
The VH1 Classic team, featuring "All Request Hour" host Lynn Hoffman, was invited to come on board the ship in November to interview the sailors and help them send music video dedications and holiday messages back to their families at home literally across the country.
The holiday dedications will air throughout Christmas Day. Families will be contacted by VH1 Classic to alert them to the time that they can view their favorite sailor's greeting.

"Driven: Jamie Foxx"
Eric Bishop, aka Jamie Foxx learned rejection about at an early age. His birth parents relinquished responsibility for him when he was 7 months old at which time he was legally adopted by his grandparents. From that point on, Eric was determined to excel at everything he did in an effort to prove his worth to his birth parents - and to himself. Eric decided that music was not only his passion, but a way to support himself and his grandmother. He secured a full classical piano scholarship at the U.S. International School of Arts in San Diego. He quickly began composing professional quality music for musicals and for his own budding career as an R&B singer. In the fall of 1989 he dropped out of college and moved to LA to pursue this passion, but he was unable to attract the attention of any record labels. At that time, some friends dared him to get up onstage at The Comedy Club for a five-minute routine and the rest is Hollywood history.

"VH1 News Presents: Hip Hop Sexploitation On The Set"
Of the roughly 200 hip hop videos created each year, all of them seem to require the staple element of voluptuous women who dance, shake, or just serve as stationary eye-candy. VH1 News wants to find out exactly who these women are and what goes on behind the scenes of these risqué video shoots. In this special report, we interview dozens of working video girls to discover the industry's secret sexual commerce. We'll meet some hear from the industry's most infamous video girl, Karrine "Superhead" Steffans. She'll explain how the video girl lifestyle almost destroyed her life. We'll also uncover the even more unsavory side of hip hop videos known as the world of uncut. This niche market boasts even more explicit images than the average music video and can be seen on DVDs and late night TV. Featuring interviews with Common, Cam'ron, Mike Jones and Luther Campbell, Trina and Jacki-O as well as former video model Melyssa Ford and two casting directors, Ulysses Terrero and Pablo Cornejo, who audition girls for an upcoming video.

"All Access: So Jewtastic"
From Dylan's anthems to Spielberg's blockbusters, it's no secret that Jews have made huge contributions to pop culture. They've succeeded in spite of age-old stereotypes about Jews as brainy, neurotic, and well, anything but hip. But that's all changing. In an age when Madonna demands to be called "Esther," Demi celebrates Purim and seemingly everyone speaks a little Yiddish, it's never been hipper to be a Jew. "All Access Presents: So Jewtastic" celebrates everything you knew - and lots of stuff you didn't - about famous members of the Tribe. This one-hour show will cover the trendy rise of Kabbalah, the new hip Jews in Hollywood, the marriage of Jews and hip hop, the connection between Jews and Heavy Metal and the domination of Jews in comedy. As a bonus, Jackie Mason schools the goyim on Yiddish terms that rock. OY GEVALT! Thanks to a mensch-laden panel of pundits, yentas and a Rabbi or two, "So Jewtastic" will also circumcise the old ideas about Jewish mothers, ridiculous stereotypes and whether or not Jews know how to play sports (they do!) So put down that gefilte fish and pop open some Manischewitz, it's time to get your Jew on...VH1 style.
