Crazy, Cool Rock Adventure Begins on Game Boy(R) Advance! D3Publisher of America Releases Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi(TM): Kaznapped!

Cartoon Network's New Hit Animated Show Now a Nintendo Game Boy(R) Advance Game

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- There has been a Kaz-napping, and only Game Boy(R) Advance players can help Ami and Yumi find their manager Kaz! D3Publisher of America, Inc. (D3PA), a publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software, today announced the release of Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi(TM): Kaznapped! for Nintendo's Game Boy(R) Advance platform. Based on Cartoon Network's hit original series, which airs Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi(TM): Kaznapped! is an action packed adventure that allows kids to either play as Ami or Yumi as they travel the globe on a whirlwind rock 'n' roll tour.

"We have been very impressed with the strong retail response, especially since this is our first release for the Game Boy(R) Advance platform," commented Kim Motika, vice president of sales and operations for D3PA. "This game has the support of a multilevel Cartoon Network marketing effort and other Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi licensed products in stores for the holiday season; but the bottom line is that Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi(TM): Kaznapped! is a very good game."

"We are pleased to be partnering with D3Publisher of America to offer our fans this terrific opportunity to enter the rock n' roll world of Ami and Yumi," said John Friend senior vice president of Cartoon Network Enterprises. "This is a great game, on a popular platform and we are confident that kids everywhere will be rescuing Kaz!"

Now in its second season on Cartoon Network, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, which will begin airing five nights a week at 9 p.m. ET/PT beginning November 28, follows the fantastic animated rock 'n' roll adventures of two very cool, but very different, pop stars as they travel around the globe, jam with aliens, get chased by their No. 1 fan or just hang out in their hometown of Tokyo. In the Game Boy(R) Advance game, kids play as Ami or Yumi using their unique rock 'n' roll skills to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles as they try to rescue their manager Kaz and recover their missing instruments from their #1 fan Harmony.

The players try to recover the girls' missing instruments by outwitting fanatical fans and dangerous Kaz-bots. Along the way they can unlock new costumes and find hidden items that fans of the TV series will recognize. After successfully completing the game, players will gain access to a special secret level.

Riding the latest pop culture craze from Japan, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi on Nintendo's Game Boy(R) Advance is available for the MSRP of $29.99. An entirely new Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi game for the Nintendo DS(TM), introducing a brand new gaming genre -- the 'Rock 'n' Roll Brawler', is scheduled to be released in Q1 2006 from D3PA.

As part of Cartoon Network's multi-tiered marketing support for the D3PA games as well as other licensing and merchandising initiatives for Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, the real-life Ami and Yumi will perform live on a custom-built float for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade(R) on November 24th. The parade is watched by an estimated 2.5 million people.
