Media International Concepts, Inc. Announces Distribution Agreement With Black Education Network Affiliates

LOS ANGELES, May 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Media International Concepts, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: MEIC) announced today delivery of the first series pilot from the new Black Life Radio Network, for presentation to the satellite radio industry, including Sirius and XM Radio, as well as for other forms of media distribution.

Inside The Congressional Black Caucus ("ICBC"), will focus on issues of concern to the nation's African-American communities as expressed primarily through leaders within the Congress of the United States. There are currently 43 members of the Congressional Black Caucus representing many of the largest and most populated urban centers in the country, as well as some of the most expansive and rural congressional districts in the nation. The guest on the pilot episode of ICBC is Hon. Melvin L. Watt, U.S. Representative from North Carolina's 12th Congressional District and the new Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus.

ICBC, a one-hour show, will also highlight and sponsor special political events relevant to African-American interests. The Executive Producer and host of ICBC is Chris Owens, a political activist from Brooklyn, New York, and son of U.S. Representative Major R. Owens (D-NY). ICBC is co-produced with Coppin State University, a historically Black university in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Black Life Radio Network is an affiliate of the BEN Asset Group ("BEN") and its subsidiary, the Black Education Network, Inc. BEN is a privately held corporation engaged in the business of producing, acquiring and distributing high quality informational, educational and entertaining programs for a national audience of African-American viewers.

African-Americans watch more television and listen to more radio per person per household than any other ethnic group, regardless of age or sex. African-Americans have not been targeted nationwide as intelligent viewers of informative yet entertaining programming. BEN will fill that void in its partnership with Media International Concepts, Inc. BEN's programs, which have been recognized by the Film Advisory Board for excellence in family programming, does present the views and perspectives of African-Americans.

As previously announced, Media International Concepts, Inc., has entered into an agreement with BEN to develop two programming concepts, of which ICBC is the first. A series focusing on health issues within African-American communities is the other program under development.
