Publishing House Launches Global Internet Talk Radio Network

SAN DIEGO, March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- wsRadio.com, an Internet talk radio network headquartered in San Diego, CA has teamed up with Hay House Publications, Carlsbad, CA to launch 20 hours of weekly Internet talk radio shows for its world renown authors.

"It was a huge undertaking because these shows all premiered on the same week," said wsRadio.com's Program Director, Lee Mirabal. Hay House Radio powered by wsRadio.com flawlessly debuted on the Internet airways, March 7th, 2005. Internet talk radio provides access to a global audience. The current trend of listeners tuning in to online radio is experiencing an impressive annual growth rate in the double digits.

One of the challenges of launching the new network was the physical location of the hosts, who are spread over the globe, including Australia, Hawaii, Canada, England and points in between. The technical solution included setting up remote studios with state of the art ISDN technology for each host. Although some of the new hosts had previous experience in radio, 40-year radio veteran, Mirabal, spent the month of February coaching the new hosts on the finer points of hosting a show. Says Mirabal, "It's very exciting to be selected as the producers of Hay House Radio and to work with their best selling authors." Lee further added "With the advances of Internet radio in recent years, these Hay House shows will draw a large worldwide audience."

Nearly 20% of Hay House's customers are international. The idea of creating the network came from Hay House CEO, Reid Tracy after he listened to the popular Mom Reality Radio show on wsRadio.com from his home computer. After suggesting the idea to some of his high profile authors, they came back with a resounding "lets do it".

All shows air live and are archived for listening on demand 24/7. The hosts realize archiving of shows is a wonderful way to leverage their time while connecting with their audience on a more personal level. In addition to listening live or via the archives, the listener can also call in and speak with the host either toll free in the U.S. or world wide on an international number.

Tracy named Hay House's, Summer McStravick, as the Executive Producer of the Hay House Radio Network. The Hay House shows broadcast every Monday through Friday from 1-5 PM Pacific Time. Hosts include such icons as Wayne Dyer, Sylvia Brown and Doreen Virtue, to name a few. Hay House Radio will retain the production services of wsRadio to produce a live remote broadcast from the "I Can Do It" conference in Las Vegas, NV - April 15-17.
