NEW YORK, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- After a soft launch in July 2004, the staff of Un Chin (pronounced oon-CHEEN) has revamped the magazine's format and released its first nationally distributed issue of 2005, titled "Music Mayhem." With vibrant, original photography and sharp writing, the Music Mayhem Issue takes readers on a wild ride through the fusion of global sounds that has reflected changing society while inspiring new generations.

The cover story profiles Oscar nominee Javier Bardem, star of the film Mar Adentro, which won this year's Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Film. The interview covers Bardem's views on acting, social issues and the state of the world. The issue also features singer Julieta Venegas, actor Gael Garcia Bernal, bands Ozomatli and Kinky, the hip-hop movement in Latin America, and the Reggaeton explosion in the United States. But the issue does more than stimulate your brain. It's unique, exquisite fashion spreads, Cock Dance, Spanish Rocks and Conuco are a visually decadent treat.

The array of articles and exclusive images illuminate the lifestyle of the growing Latino population in the United States who are emerging among the country's leading thinkers, trendsetters, artists and opinion makers.
