Porn, Power Tools, Bassinets Voted Best V-Day Gifts...to Get Dumped Over

Looking to get out of a relationship this Valentine's Day? Giving your girl the gift of porn -- or your guy a gift for a newborn -- may be the quickest way. The Most Romantic Weather Condition? Snow Storms, According to The Weather Channel

Snow storms topped the list of "Most Romantic Weather Conditions," according to the results of the Weather Channel's first annual "Weather and Romance Survey" conducted by the world's leading authority on weather forecasting. According to the survey:

-- Power failures aren't always a tragedy for over 70 percent of the
respondents who said they would "light some candles and snuggle in"
with their significant other when the lights went out.

Overall, the survey concluded that for over three quarters of those surveyed, weather does affect their mood for romance.

Romantic E-Mails & Racy Instant Messages Can Ruin Valentine's Day

Think e-mail and instant messaging are safe and speedy ways to send Valentine's Day greetings? Think again. Write an e-love note on company time, and you may wind up unemployed, as 25 percent of employees have learned the hard way, according to the 2004 Workplace E-Mail and Instant Messaging Survey from American Management Association and The ePolicy Institute. Employers who permit workers to send romantic e-mail and racy I-M are at risk, too. Fully 13 percent of organizations have battled lawsuits triggered by inappropriate employee e-mail. With 86 percent of employees using company e-mail for personal correspondence, the likelihood of love-sick staffers sending racy, romantic, and risky e-mail Valentines is huge. Instant Messaging increases the risks for those who tend to play it fast and loose with language. Of the 58 percent of workers who engage in personal I-M at work, 6 percent admit to sending sexual, romantic and pornographic content.
