Ferguson is a spokeswoman for the FLEX Abdominal Toning System from Compex, the first abdominal toning belt that utilizes clinically proven technology and is cleared for sale by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the indications of firming, strengthening and toning the abdominal muscles. Rice is a spokesman for the Compex Sport training system, a neuromuscular stimulator that uses technology similar to the FLEX. Within the infomercial, Ferguson and Rice explain how the FLEX abdominal belt has helped them develop firmer, stronger and more toned abdominal muscles.

In his testimonial, Rice says, "The first time that I used the FLEX, I was very surprised because it was working muscles that I have been trying to work with crunches. I've gotten the results that I really needed. My midsection is so much tighter and so much stronger."

The 30-minute infomercial was produced by Compex Technologies and Script to Screen, which is a leading direct-response production company based in Santa Ana, Calif. It initially will air on national cable networks, including Beauty, PAX, FX, National Geographic and Fox Sports as well as regional and local market affiliates. For more information on air dates and times, visit http://www.compexflex.com/ .

Dan Gladney, CEO of Compex Technologies, said, "The FLEX from Compex has sold well through other direct channels, such as HSN, proving that the direct marketing approach is very effective for this product. The educational format of an infomercial allows time for a more detailed explanation of electro- muscle stimulation technology, which is the technology utilized within the product as well as the clinical studies that show how effective the product really is."
