IPcelerate Extends IP Telephony Connection With Launch of E2instein
Convergence Software Provider Bridges Exchange of Information Gap Between Enterprise VoIP and Cellular Environments
ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- IPcelerate, Inc., a provider of advanced communications-based software applications, announced at the VoiceCon 2005 show today the launch of E2instein, a content delivery solution for IP telephony platforms that creates a new foundation of information exchange throughout the enterprise.
The E2instein platform allows various types of messages (text, multimedia, XML, voice) to be exchanged between the IP telephony network and the cellular (CDMA/GSM) network, and supports JTAPI, TAPI, XML, SMS and MMS standards. Enterprise clients, which are devices and applications, are enabled to exchange content across the different formats, with the E2instein interface embedded in these clients. This creates a universal medium for employees, customers, or clients to exchange voice or text messages, images, and emergency alerts through a variety of communications devices, such as cell phones, PDAs, email, IP Phones, and IPcelerate's MyNORA dashboard.
"E2instein is the next step in the evolution of the exchange of mission-critical information throughout the converged enterprise," said Kevin Brown, president and CEO of IPcelerate. "It continues our vision of tearing down traditional telephony fences by deploying real-time messages across a variety of different devices normally found in the enterprise and in their extended family of customers, partners and suppliers."
Using IPcelerate's robust NIPA Framework, and building upon the IPsession solution, E2instein enables applications deployed over wired or wireless networks (802.11, RFID, Bluetooth) to exchange information more effectively with CDMA/GMS devices such as cell phones, IP Phones, PDAs and other communication devices. The integration of these technologies provides a significant business impact on company-wide efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
"According to industry analysts, by end of this decade more than one fourth of the population will have some kind of converged device, be it a cell phone, an IP Phone, or a soft client," said Alok Jain, CTO for IPcelerate. "Also, more than 75% of businesses will be adopting IP telephony in that same time frame. E2instein will provide seamless messaging integration among these users by integrating enterprise IP telephony and the cellular world."
