American HomePatient Renews and Expands Networking Contract with AT&T
BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- American HomePatient Inc. (AHOM), one of the nation's largest home healthcare providers, has contracted with AT&T for a high-speed networking solution that connects its 280 facilities throughout the United States. AHOM's facilities provide home healthcare products and services, patient assessment and education, and clinical expertise.
The three-year contract renews and expands an existing relationship between the companies. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
With the new contract, AT&T will provide AHOM with increased bandwidth to support a corporate intranet and the ability for remote sites to access applications that were previously available only at the AHOM headquarters.
