The MediaREADY x40 is a Linux-based digital media receiver. The MediaREADY x40 is capable of receiving digital media from a MediaREADY 4000, MediaREADY 5000 or PC on the same in-home network. This combination can create a whole-home personal video recording solution allowing access of recorded content throughout the home. The unit easily connects to any television in the home through onboard composite and S-Video connections. Users can simply and easily use their existing in-home networks to share their favorite TV shows, movies, home movies, digital pictures, and music, effectively creating a whole-home Media network.
