Sensory Networks Appoints Silicon Valley Veteran Mark McCoy as Vice President of Global Sales

PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Sensory Networks, the leading developer of hardware acceleration technology for network security applications, today announced the appointment of Mark S. McCoy as Vice President of Global Sales. Mr. McCoy brings over 25 years experience in senior sales positions with industry leading security, networking, storage software and hardware companies. His proven track record is well complemented by a deep and thorough knowledge of OEM licensing and channel management.

For the last 6 years, Mr. McCoy has been Vice President of Sales for ActivCard Inc, the leading provider of multi-factor authentication, password management and trusted digital identities. At ActivCard, Mr. McCoy built the sales organization from zero to 33 million in 5 years, and managed all direct, OEM, channel, telesales, technical sales engineers as well as field operations. Prior to ActivCard, he spent 12 years in a variety of senior roles at both Veritas Software and Novell where he built and managed large sales organizations which have contributed to the accelerated revenue growth, marketing and technical dominance in their respective fields.
