Filnet Leases New Office to Accommodate Growth

Federal Market, Staff Growth, and Prime Location Behind Move

LAKE RIDGE, Va., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- New hires and projected growth are behind Filnet's move to a new corporate location at 5400 Shawnee Road in Alexandria, Virginia. Filnet will occupy the new office space on December 29, 2004. The lease was brokered by Cushman & Wakefield on behalf of Filnet.

The 4,613 square feet located on the first floor of the Shawnee Road location managed by Gates Hudson and Associates, Inc. is nearly 50 percent larger than the company's Lake Ridge office where Filnet resided for the previous five years. The new location will accommodate a projected 50% increase in staff that Filnet expects to hire in 2005 to service existing accounts and new business acquisitions. The new office is conveniently located in Alexandria close to Metro and the Interstate 395 corridor, making it more convenient for clients and employees.

Filnet is positioned to acquire Federal contracts having recently received GSA certification to provide Federal IT services and with an 8a application pending. Last week, Filnet announced the addition of Robert Gillespie as vice president of business development to help capture Filnet's share of the Federal IT market.
