NEW YORK, Dec. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2015 Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards Inductee Class will be lead by Afrika Bambaataa for Lifetime Achievement, Harry Belafonte's classic Hip Hop Film BeatStreet now celebrating 30 years, Sal Abitello and his Disco Fever venue in the Bronx where many Hip Hop Stars and Legends were made, Sylvia Robinson and SugarHill Records, Bobby Robinson and Enjoy Records, and Harlem's Mike & Dave Records & Promotions make up the Institutional Inductees.

The 2015 Artists, Groups, DJs, B-Boys/Girls, and Graffiti Writers Inductees names will be unveiled to the world at the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards Inductee Press Conference announcements in January 2015. "We are very excited about this 2015 Inductee Class as it continues to fulfill our commitment to tell the whole story of Hip Hop Music & Culture from its inception, to its early stages, and transformation to Records, Radio, Films, and Entrepreneurship that has become a Global business and socio-economic phenomenon," stated Chairman JT Thompson, the Creator and Executive Producer of the HHHOF Awards Show that originally aired on BET Networks in the 1990s, and recently on Soul of the South TV Network.

The Hip Hop Hall of Fame is presently seeking a multi-year National Television Broadcast partner, Official Sponsors and Product Brand Advertisers, and quality Production Partnerships to propel this show and other future co-branded programs and events to the next level reaching millions of viewers in America and around the World. The show is scheduled for late March 2015 at a venue in New York City.

As reported the Hip Hop Hall of Fame + Museum has received a $500,000 Matching Challenge Grant to open its Harlem Satellite Hip Hop Museum, Cafe, TV Studios, Permanent Offices, and a Youth Media Educational Program in March 2015, and will kick-off its IndieGoGo Fan and Community Crowdfunding campaign December 15th to match the grant fund total. However, The Hip Hop Hall of Fame + Museum main campus location will be in Midtown Manhattan adjacent to Time Square and consists of a 50,000 square foot multi-floor building with Museum, Retail Gift Shop, Restaurant, Arcade, Sports Bar, TV Studios, and Concert Lounge that is estimated to see up to 1,000,000 fans, visitors and tourists annually, generating 200+ jobs, and a socio-economic impact of $350M annually to the NYC, and Tri-State area. The facility will take 18-24 months to complete construction and is scheduled to open in late 2016-17.
