Residential Download Speeds of Up to 150 Mbps Available in December 2014 with Up to 300 Mbps Coming in Early 2015

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting in December 2014, Bright House Networks will increase speeds on its most popular high speed data (HSD) Internet packages, offering download speeds of up to 150 Mbps for new and existing customers. Bright House Networks Standard Internet will move from 10 Mbps to 15 Mbps; Lightning 30 Mbps to 35 Mbps; Lightning 60 Mbps will move to 75 Mbps and Lightning 90 Mbps will move to 150 Mbps. The speed increases also come at no additional charge to existing customers who already subscribe to these packages.

Bright House Networks continues to make significant investments in its network equipment and last mile infrastructure to enable ultra-fast access to all the services that our customers love, such as streaming video (Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc.), online gaming, personal cloud services and more. Bright House Networks Internet packages also continue to include enhanced email, access to more than 40,000 free Wi-Fi hotspots across our service areas and 250,000 free Wi-Fi hotspots nationwide, McAfee Antivirus, parental controls and 24-hour customer support.
