It is a first - on-the-road - US-China election collaboration.
Each night from October 27(th) at 9pm US eastern time, (repeated daily at 4pm eastern plus online) through Election Day, the CCTV America team tackles different election related issues from different locations.
Correspondent Sean Callebs, a veteran of election campaigns back to 1984, reports on Tuesday October 28(th) from St Louis on the immigration debate. The roadshow travels Wednesday to Waynesville, Missouri to explore America's controversial health care issue.
Later in the lead up to elections day, the team tackles the debate over a national minimum wage, the money politics driving the election campaign and how new foreign policy issues may be impacting voters.
Correspondent Wang Guan sees the American political cycle through Chinese eyes, reporting for both Chinese viewers in China and American viewers alike. His observations add a unique global angle to the CCTV America coverage.
