WHAT: The invitation-only, "Girls Night Out" celebration and sneak
preview of season three of HBO's Emmy(R)-winning series GIRLS
hosted in partnership with Atlanta Film Festival, Shecky's,
TUMBLR and XFINITY

Atlanta is one of eight cities nationwide where HBO is hosting
"Girls Night Out" screening events on January 6, the same
evening as the New York City premiere at Jazz at Lincoln Center.


As season three kicks off: Hannah has settled into newfound
domesticity with Adam, and is rehabilitating her writing career.
Marnie is recovering from her traumatic breakup with Charlie and
working to achieve the life she feels she deserves. Nearing
graduation, the newly single Shoshanna is trying to strike a
healthy balance between partying and school. And Jessa continues
to disrupt the lives of everyone around her.


Created by and starring Lena Dunham, the series GIRLS is a comic
look at the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of a group
of girls in their 20s. Dunham executive produces along with Judd
Apatow, Jenni Konner and Ilene S. Landress; Bruce Eric Kaplan is
consulting producer. In addition to Dunham, who stars as Hannah,
the cast of GIRLS includes Allison Williams as Marnie; Jemima
Kirke as Jessa; Zosia Mamet as Shoshanna; Alex Karpovsky as Ray;
and Adam Driver as Adam.
