Starz Announces Finance Group Senior Promotions - Bergmann And Dickinson To SVP, Zamora To VP

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Dec. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Chief Financial Officer Scott Macdonald announced the promotions of Bill Bergmann to SVP, Finance and Planning, Janet Dickinson to SVP, Finance and Accounting, Controller, and Joe Zamora to VP, Finance.

A 15-year Starz veteran, Bergmann was promoted most recently from VP, Finance and Planning and is responsible for budgeting, planning and internal reporting activities across the family of Starz companies. Bergmann has advanced through various financial management positions during his tenure at Starz. Prior to Starz, Bergmann owned and operated several restaurants in the upstate New York area. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Dickinson joined Starz six years ago and was promoted most recently from VP, Accounting and Finance. She is responsible for managing the Company's accounting functions and the preparation and filing of all quarterly and annual financial statements. Prior to joining the company, she held senior accounting and finance management roles with Adelphia Communications and AT&T Broadband. Dickinson holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Nebraska.

Zamora was promoted most recently from Executive Director - Finance and Planning and is responsible for budgeting, planning and internal reporting activities as well as financial deal support for Starz Networks' distribution and studio agreements. A 15-year Starz veteran, Zamora's prior experience was with GE Capital where he successfully completed GE's Financial Management Program. Zamora holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
