TORONTO, Dec. 18, 2013 /CNW/ - Capping its most successful season yet,
last night's season finale of CTV's THE VOICE won Tuesday night in all key adult and female demos. With 1.7 million
viewers, the two-hour, superstar finale was up 21% from last fall among
total viewers, and grew 29% among A25-54 and 24% with A18-49. Peaking
with 2.1 million viewers at 10:56 p.m. as Tessanne took the title of
"The Voice," the episode attracted 4.7 million unique viewers overall
and drew ratings of 5.2 (A25-54) and 4.8 (A18-49) in Toronto. CTV also
announced today that Season 6 of THE VOICE will premiere Monday, Feb. 24 on CTV Two and CTV GO.

THE VOICE has now completed its most-watched season yet, averaging 1.7 million
viewers weekly on CTV. The series has delivered double-digit growth
over Season 4 with total viewers (+20%), A18-49 (+23%), and A18-34
(+22%).
In last night's episode, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Paramore, OneRepublic,
Ne-Yo, and Aloe Blacc performed live while Tessanne Chin (Team
Adam), Will Champlin (Team Adam), and Jacquie Lee (Team Christina)
battled it out for the win. In the end, Kingston, Jamaica native
Tessanne took home the grand prize recording contract. The episode is
available now on CTV.ca and the CTV GO app.
With Shakira and Usher confirmed to join Adam and Blake in the coaches'
chairs, Season 6 of THE VOICE premieres Monday, Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV Two and CTV GO.
