A New, Exclusively Digital TV Destination, WCAC.tv, Will Broadcast LIVE Football Championship Games

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Nov. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The WCAC is changing the game with a rising star in digital broadcasting. Today, the conference announced its exclusive partnership with Rising Up Sports to manage their conference playoff broadcast rights, lead championship event marketing, produce and stream live playoff event broadcasts online, and establish the conference's first ever digital TV destination - WCAC.tv - effectively transforming the way players, coaches and fans engage with conference sports.

The first LIVE broadcasts will be the WCAC football semifinals at the University of Maryland's Capital One Field in Byrd Stadium on November 10. Gonzaga will take on St. John's at 12-noon ET, and Our Lady of Good Counsel faces DeMatha at 4:00 p.m. ET. The championship football game will be held on November 16 at 2:00 p.m. ET. At a minimum this year, WCAC.tv will live-stream football, basketball and lacrosse conference playoffs.
