This is the thirty-sixth year of harvest festivities for Bryan and the first occasion for a harvest at the company's Hill Country estate. While the grape-gathering events are traditional in nature, live music and philanthropy will have a new place for the Fredericksburg festival, occurring Aug 10th only. For this celebration, company founders and co-owners Paul and Merrill Bonarrigo plan a $10,000.00 check presentation for the Texas Culinary and Wine Center Association (www.texascenterforwineandculinaryarts.com). A portion of the day's ticket proceeds will also be donated to the TCWCA.
In Bryan, guests experience first-hand access to grape picking and foot-stomping of grapes as well as other amenities to include t-shirts to personalize with grape-stained footprints, harvest feast lunches, food and wine pairing seminars and specialty dinners. Fredericksburg guests may also pick and stomp grapes, enjoy wine with lunch and experience exclusive live music into the evening.
Day-long and half-day packages may be purchased by calling 979.778.9463 ext 234 (Bryan) or 830.990.4653 (Fredericksburg) or by visiting: www.messinahof.com/harvest2013 (Bryan location only.)
