MIAMI, Oct. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Spanish Broadcasting System Inc., ("SBS") (Nasdaq: SBSA) and 93.3FM La Raza (KRZZ) in SanFrancisco announced today that they will be holding their third annual Radioton Para Nuestros Ninos--Radiothon for Our Kids--live from Children's Hospital & Research Center in Oakland to raise funds in support of the Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland. The radiothon will take place on Friday, October 21st and run through Sunday, October 23rd, 2011 with live broadcasts from the Children's Hospital & Research Center in Oakland, the local Children's Miracle Network hospital. The listeners of 93.3FM La Raza will hear patients and their families share firsthand stories of strength and healing and of the family-centered support and care offered at Children's Hospital in Oakland.

"Radioton Para Nuestros Ninos" -Radiothon for Our Kids- will count with La Raza's popular and well-known DJ's and talent, including Ricardo Sanchez "El Mandril," Sylvia del Valle "La Bronca," Ernesto de Santiago "El Barzon," Valentin Garcia "El Semental," Luis Enrique Baldizon "El Pesado," Francisco Esquivel Flores "Paisa Man," and Charito Martinez who will be present to entertain and encourage listeners to make a donation to the hospital. One hundred percent of the funds raised during this event will support healthcare services at Children's Hospital & Research Center in Oakland.
