PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 5, 2011/PRNewswire/ --Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ: RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising, television and entertainment industries, today announced that David Algranati, Ph.D. has been appointed Senior Vice President of Product Innovation and Analytical Solutions.

Mr. Algranati will be responsible for overlaying consumer and advanced demographic data onto Rentrak's viewership information to enhance the deep insights and granularity of Rentrak's leading database multi-screen measurement systems. Additional responsibilities include leading the Product Innovation and Analytical Solutions team in developing and providing advanced analytics on a custom basis to Rentrak's agency, advertiser and network clients.

David Algranati, Ph.D. is a statistician with years of experience in consumer market research who, prior to joining Rentrak, held several executive research positions at Experian Simmons and was most recently the Director of Integrated Marketing Solutions at the company.
