ZGS Communications Announces the 2011 La Feria de la Familia Season

Free family event provides entertainment, activities and information for the Hispanic community

WASHINGTON, June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --ZGS Communications announced the schedule for the 2011 La Feria de la Familia season. The first event will be held in Fort Myers, Florida on Sunday, June 12. Held annually, La Feria de la Familia is the premier multi-market family and grassroots event for Hispanics in the United States. La Feria is organized and promoted by ZGS Telemundo affiliate television stations. In 2011, La Feria artists, sponsors and services will travel to 8 markets including Boston, El Paso, Fort Myers/Naples, Hartford/Springfield, Orlando, Philadelphia, Tampa, and Washington, D.C.

The event is designed to provide information, services and entertainment in a festive, family atmosphere, completely free to the public. Last year's events welcomed over 400 companies and more than 100,000 people. ZGS television stations strive to create a unique event for each market that caters specifically to the local community. The events feature live musical performances by local and internationally recognized artists, as well as special appearances by Telemundo celebrities.
