DENVER, June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and Denver Mayor Guillermo Vidal have issued proclamations honoring Deep Rock Water on its 115th anniversary this year. In order to celebrate with a big birthday bash, Deep Rock Water has signed on to be the presenting sponsor of the City Park Jazz concert series this summer.

Deep Rock Water also announces that the company will be taking donations and providing a portion of the proceeds from sales at the jazz concert series, and from its operations this summer, to benefit Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation.

In his proclamation in April, Gov. Hickenlooper declared that because of its positive impact on the region during 115 years in business, Coloradoans were encouraged to observe June 1 as a day to honor Deep Rock Water (www.deeprockwater.com).

Also because of its contributions to the economic vitality and quality of life in the city, Denver Mayor Vidal declared the entire month of June as Deep Rock Water Month in Denver.
