Outdoor Channel Broadens Distribution in Chicago Market With Migration to Comcast's Digital Preferred Package
CHICAGO, June 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- NCTA's The Cable Show 2011 -- Outdoor Channel, America's Leader in Outdoor TV, today announced that the network will be added to the broadly distributed Digital Preferred tier, in addition to its existing position on the Sports & Entertainment tier, throughout Comcast's cable systems in the Greater Chicago market beginning in August. Viewers on Comcast systems in Greater Chicago, as well as those in Champaign/Springfield/Decatur; Peoria/Bloomington; Quincy/Hannibal/Keokuk; Rockford; and South Bend/Elkhart, Indiana will now have greater access to Outdoor Channel's popular, high quality hunting, fishing, shooting and adventure programming.
