Bruce McBarnette: Black History in the Making.
WASHINGTON, Feb. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Bruce McBarnette, a World Champion athlete, attorney, actor, and president of Summit Connection, from Sterling, VA, will be interviewed by WEAA Radio, 88.9 FM as a model of African American history in the making which will air on Friday, February 18 at 7:40 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and Monday, February 21 at 7:40 a.m. Bruce McBarnette, who has won 8 world track and field Championships and 23 USA national championships for his age group in the high jump, will provide motivational advice that helped him achieve his dreams.

Bruce McBarnette is a member of the USA Track and Field Masters Hall of Fame. Bruce McBarnette has also broken over a dozen USA and World high jump records for his age group.
In addition to his athletic achievements, Bruce McBarnette is also president of the real estate investment firm, Summit Connection.
As a public speaker and faculty member of Northern Virginia Community College and Montgomery College; Bruce McBarnette has spoken about health, real estate, exam preparation, and success to thousands of people in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He has been interviewed often on TV by CBS News.
In addition to track and field, Bruce McBarnette is an actor and had roles in TV shows, including West Wing, The Wire, Law and Order. He has also had roles in several movies; including How Do You Know, starring Reese Witherspoon; Minority Report, starring Tom Cruise; Absolute Power, starring Clint Eastwood; and Deep Impact, directed by Steven Spielberg.
