WHAT: ANGELES OF 1942

On February 24, 1942, UFOs were spotted off the
coast of Santa Monica. Initially thought to be
Japanese bombers, the craft were pelted with
anti-aircraft guns - but not one artillery shell
hit. The event remains unexplained and is one of
the most mysterious events of World War II.

To commemorate the upcoming 69th Anniversary of
the 1942 Battle of Los Angeles, a press
conference will be held with the following
leading authorities to address this phenomenon
and discuss the unexplained current events taking
place around the world: Colonel Charles Halt
(U.S. Armed Forces Retired), Captain Robert Salas
(U.S. Armed Forces Retired), Dr. Robert Wood
(National Mutual UFO Network) and Bill Birnes

About the film: For years, there have been
documented cases of UFO sightings around the
world - Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany,
China. In Battle: Los Angeles, what were thought
to be mere visions or optical illusions will
prove to be a terrifying reality when Earth is
attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere
watch the world's great cities fall, Los Angeles
becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no
one expected. It's up to a Marine staff sergeant
(Aaron Eckhart) and his new platoon to draw a
line in the sand as they take on an enemy unlike
any they've ever encountered before. The film is
directed by Jonathan Liebesman and written by
Chris Bertolini. The producers are Neal H.
