Sing With DC's Nationally Acclaimed Gay Men's Chorus at the Piano Bar of the Black Fox Lounge

WASHINGTON, Jan. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Join in with the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington at an open mic night at the Piano Bar of Black Fox Lounge, with the chance to sing solo or alongside members of the popular group.

The Chorus, fresh from a well-received performance at the Kennedy Center Awards for the Performing Arts, will be hosting activities at the Piano Bar Thursday, February 3 from 7pm to 10pm at the Black Fox Lounge at 1723 Connecticut Avenue NW in Washington's Dupont Circle neighborhood.

Anyone is welcome and the chorus will be offering for free the chance to sing solos or for visitors to perform that night with members of the chorus.

The Chorus will also be hosting open mic nights at the Piano Bar later this year at the Black Fox Lounge on three Thursdays -- March 10, April 14, and May 12.

The Black Fox Lounge regularly features intimate live performances by some of the most talented musicians in the region including jazzy swing-outs, delicate piano balladry, rock, soul, show tunes, piano and bass combos, and guitar solos.
