What Was That Song on American Idol?
IT WAS 'LIVE FOREVER' BY MATT MORRIS THAT YOU HEARD ON WEDNESDAY'S IDOL GIVES BACK EPISODE 'LIVE FOREVER' AVAILABLE NOW ON iTUNES
SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- "Live Forever" by singer-songwriter Matt Morris provided the heartfelt musical soundtrack for a segment of the "Idol Gives Back" telethon from "American Idol" on Wednesday, April 21 on FOX. The inspirational song was the musical backdrop highlighting the Children's Health Fund, one of the main charities for "Idol Gives Back." This year, "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell visited the organization in Douglas, Arizona, where past "Idol Gives Back" donations are providing pediatric care to one of the poorest regions in America.
"Live Forever" is the first single from Morris' debut album, When Everything Breaks Open (Tennman/Interscope Records), which was released in January 2010. The album was produced by Charlie Sexton and Justin Timberlake.
"Idol Gives Back" is the historic Emmy Award-winning television event and musical celebration that has raised more than $140 million to benefit charities across the United States and around the world. The Children's Health Fund was co-founded in 1987 by famed singer-songwriter Paul Simon and pediatrician/child advocate Dr. Irwin Redlener to provide health care to the nation's most medically underserved children.
