Live Musical Performances Now Available on YouTube
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Every Saturday night, before that evening's theatrical production in the Golden Age Theater located in the heart of Hollywood, guests will enjoy some of the best musical performances by top musicians with a diversity of music rarely found in theater. From jazz piano by 15-time Grammy award winning musician Chick Corea, to sumptuous lounge music by Victoria Summer, to country music with the harmonica cowboy Gary Allagretto, you will find it all. The music theme is based on that night's story being performed.
Individual videos of songs from each of these three performers have been created and are now available online at http://www.youtube.com/goldenagestories under the section "Golden Age Theater." They include a performance of "Some Day My Prince Will Come" by Chick Corea on piano accompanied by his wife, Gayle Moran Corea; "Your Song" performed by Victoria Summer; and, the original country tune "Bad Man" by Gary Allagretto.
Performances at the Golden Age Theater have received CBS Radio's highest four-star rating. Contributing Arts and Entertainment Critic Todd David Schwartz gave the shows "FOUR STARS (Highest Rating) [for] Southern California's most refreshingly unique entertainment experience." The performances recreate "the sensations of old-time radio, compellingly crafted tales by award-winning writer L. Ron Hubbard," said Schwartz.
