"NBC Universal Connection" Event Promises to be a Night to Remember for Cable Show Delegates and Exhibitors
WASHINGTON, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- A highlight for participants at The Cable Show 2010 will undoubtedly be an evening at Universal Studios Hollywood, The Entertainment Capital of L.A. The Cable Show and NBC Universal are pleased to announce that all delegates and exhibitors at the 59th Annual Convention and International Exposition of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) are invited to "NBC Universal Connection," an evening of fun and excitement at the world famous theme park on Wednesday, May 12. The Cable Show 2010 will take place May 11-13, 2010, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

As guests of NBC Universal, Cable Show attendees are invited to ride thrilling attractions, including The Simpsons Ride(TM) and Shrek 4-D(TM), as well as experience the behind-the-scenes Universal Studio Tour showcasing iconic movie sets featured in thousands of movie and television productions. Guests will also have a panoramic view of the dynamic transformation taking place on the historic studio lot, including enhanced New York and Brownstone Streets and a recently constructed modern urban cityscape, soon to be the largest modern urban backlot shooting location in Los Angeles, as well as other new locations.
The evening will also feature refreshments, free transportation from the Convention Center and select convention hotels, and a live concert performance by a popular multi-platinum selling, Grammy-award winning band.
