Leading Advertising Agency in Entertainment Industry Takes Home Seven Awards Including Best of Show
LOS ANGELES, April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- bpg, a full-service, award-winning creative advertising agency for the entertainment industry, was honored with seven Mobius Awards in this year's competition. Established in 1971, Mobius Awards is the oldest, independent, international advertising awards competition, honoring the year's most creative campaigns in the advertising industry.
bpg was honored with the Best of Show Award in Cinema/In-flight, First Place and the Kodak Cinematography Award for "The Train." The entry, which was created for MovieTickets.com, depicts the struggle against time as a man runs to catch his receding train.
Other first place honors for bpg include History Channel's "Ice Road Truckers" and TV Land's "She's Got the Look." Alliance Films' "Blindness" and Bravo's "Make Me a Supermodel" both won Certificates. bpg won these honors in a crowded field of multinational agencies all vying for coveted Mobius Awards.
"These Awards symbolize bpg's dedication to creative excellence and the valuable partnerships we've developed with our clients," said Steph Sebbag, president of bpg. "It's a tremendous honor to be repeatedly recognized for our work by such a prestigious worldwide competition."
"We're honored to have worked with bpg as a creative partner on this commercial," said Walt Borchers, executive vice president, MovieTickets.com. "'The Train' is an original vignette, bringing to life artistic cinematography and memorable storytelling solely through vivid imagery. We're thrilled that this spot is being recognized with such a prominent award as we continue to receive numerous industry accolades for our campaigns."
Mobius Awards Chairman, Lee Gluckman, along with Kodak's Aaron Saffa, traveled to bpg's office to present the awards. The bpg visit kicked off Gluckman's campaign to deliver Mobius Best of Show and Image awards to winners over the next few weeks.
Additional awards and nominations bpg has recently received include Davey Awards, the 2009 Golden Trailer Award, Telly Awards, and PromaxBDA Awards, among others.
