Director James Cameron, Thomas Friedman, Sigourney Weaver, Joe Scarborough and Rep. Diane Watson to Address Global Environmental Issues

WHAT: Renowned director and environmentalist James Cameron will be joined by The New York Times' Thomas Friedman, actress Sigourney Weaver, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and Rep. Diane Watson (D-CA) to discuss global environmental policies and sustainable approaches critical to keeping our planet from suffering the fate depicted in the film, AVATAR.

Issues to be addressed will include:
-- Reducing taxes and making government smaller by ending the "Silent
Taxation" of Americans
-- How we can have a truly free market and stop subsidizing unsustainable
practices
-- How alternative energy technologies are ALREADY less expensive than
dirty extractive energy
-- Saving the Earth's own "Na'vi." Mr. Cameron will discuss his recent
trips to Brazil and his meetings with local tribes and the critical
need to stop the Belo Monte dam project planned by the Brazilian
government.
