NEW ALBUM 'BACK FROM THE DEAD' ARRIVES JUNE 16, 2009
SAN FRANCISCO, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- INgrooves, a leading provider of digital distribution, marketing and promotion services to the independent music community, is managing global digital distribution and marketing for Spinal Tap's upcoming album, Back From The Dead, and accompanying promotional video content.
The group's reunion comes on the 25th anniversary of the cult classic film, "This is Spinal Tap." David St. Hubbins, Derek Smalls and Nigel Tufnel have re-visited and re-imagined their 1984 soundtrack classic compositions and added six new songs to go along with an accompanying track-by-track promotional video commentary. Additionally, the physical packaging includes a unique pop-up diorama package that features three 12-inch high action figures of the band members along with Stonehenge.

Back From The Dead includes the newly interpreted Tap classics "Hell Hole," "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight," "Big Bottom," "(Funky) Sex Farm," "Stonehenge," and "(Listen to the) Flower People (Reggae Stylee)." The band has a few upcoming performances, including The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien (June 15th), The Glastonbury Festival (June 27th - UK) and a one night only world tour at Wembley Arena (June 30th - UK).
