Fancast.com to Carry A&E Series 'Hammertime' and 'The Cleaner' 24 Hours After Each Show's Premiere

Beginning June 9th, Fancast Will Host A&E Content Including Webisodes, Celebrity Blogs, Live Chats, Photos and Sneak Peeks

PHILADELPHIA and LOS ANGELES, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Interactive Media and A&E Television Networks (AETN) recently signed an agreement extending their distribution partnership of short form programming clips and adding full length episodes for exhibition via Fancast.com. Fancast, a top TV destination on the web, will promote broadcast programming efforts by featuring two of A&E Network's biggest summer programs, the new unscripted series "Hammertime" and the returning hit drama "The Cleaner."

"Fancast is proud to host content from what is sure to be some of the summer's biggest shows" said Karin Gilford, Senior Vice President of Fancast and Online Entertainment at Comcast Interactive Media. "A&E continues to be a premier partner and we look forward to providing fans with a one-stop destination around all things TV."

"A&E is excited to provide an immersive viewing experience with two of our hottest new summer series, giving Fancast users access to unique content elements supporting 'Hammertime' and 'The Cleaner'," said Mark Garner, Senior Vice President Distribution, Marketing and New Business Development, AETN.

"Hammertime," which has its debut on A&E June 14th, follows the life of rapper and dancer MC Hammer, his wife of more than 23 years and their family of six. The series takes an unprecedented look behind his larger-than-life personality and into his life as a devoted husband, father and business entrepreneur. Available June 15th, Fancast will feature the first full episode, eight 10-minute "Hammertime Overtime" webisodes, Hammer guest blog, photo gallery and a live chat with Hammer scheduled for later in the season.

"The Cleaner" launching its second season June 23rd on A&E, is inspired by the true story of a real-life "extreme interventionist" and stars Benjamin Bratt as William "The Cleaner" Banks, who after hitting rock-bottom from his own addictions helps addicts conquer their own demons supported by an unconventional team of associates. Fancast fans will be able to catch all 13 season 1 episodes beginning June 9th, and on June 16th the first act of season 2. Additionally, the first episode of season 2 will be available on Fancast 24-hours after the June 23rd linear premiere. Fancast will also carry unique photo galleries from the set, and has scheduled a live chat with series star, Grace Park.

Both A&E series support the dynamic summer programming block on Fancast.com beginning mid-June.
