Butterfinger to Enhance Festival Experience for Comedy Fans via Pop-Up Experiences, Twitter

GLENDALE, Calif., June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Butterfinger will help to keep attendees smiling at this year's Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival as its official comedy partner, showcasing a roster of national headlining comics. Black and Showalter star in the highly-anticipated "Michael and Michael Have Issues" set to premiere on Comedy Central on July 15th. Taking a new twist on narrative and sketch comedies, the program features the long-time comedic partners as the hosts of their own fictitious sketch show.

Festival-goers can find Black and Showalter at "The Comedy Sweet Humored by Butterfinger," Bonnaroo's central location for laughs. In total, the large air-conditioned tent or "suite" will feature 16 comedic performances, VIP amenities, and free Butterfinger candy bars. The Comedy Sweet aims to entertain and engage Bonnaroo attendees on site, as well as online through social media activities, including:

hunt on the Bonnaroo grounds via Twitter. Special clues posted through
"tweets" by @MichaelIanBlack or @MShowalter on Twitter.com will lead
festival attendees to discover a "Butterfinger Man." Bonnaroo
attendees who post a photo of themselves with this character on

-- Comedian Christian Finnegan ("VH1's Best Week Ever") will perform a
series of Pop-Up Comedy routines throughout the weekend on the streets
of Bonnaroo. Highlights of Finnegan's spontaneous, stand-up
performances will be broadcast after the festival on the Butterfinger
Comedy Network on Yahoo!

-- Bonnaroo attendees also will be entertained at the "Butterfinger
Lounge," adjacent to The Comedy Sweet, where cameras will capture
confessionals for future airings on the Butterfinger Comedy Network,
and party games will keep fans in stitches between shows
