("VisionChina" or "the Company") (NASDAQ:VISN), one of China's largest out-of-home digital television advertising networks on mass transportation systems, today announced that it will hold its 2008 annual general meeting of shareholders at the offices of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, 35/F ICBC Tower, 3 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong, Hong Kong S.A.R., at 10:30 a.m. Beijing/Hong Kong time on December 22, 2008 (9:30 p.m. Eastern Time on December 21, 2008). The shareholder record date is November 24, 2008.

The Company has filed its annual report on Form 20-F, including its audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2007, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC").
