In a candid question and answer interview, Stapp addresses that his recent USO Military tour has been a "life-changing experience and dream come true." Stapp explains that when he found out about Armed Forces and Navy Entertainment, he knew it was what he was supposed to do with his life right now.

Stapp goes on to say that having had a father in the military, and a sister who is an Army captain that served in the last four (military) conflicts, he found himself with a "heart for the troops, what they were dealing with and what they were going through."

He went on to say that the message he wanted to take home is "these are heroes, and these people are who I want my children to look up to." He felt so compelled, that he flew in his wife Jaclyn Stapp, reigning Mrs. Florida America 2008, and his son and nephew to meet him so they could see "the character, sacrifice, and responsibility" he was finding in the brave young men and women he had encountered while touring the U.S. military bases.

Altogether, Stapp toured around 18 U.S. military bases in the Middle East, Italy, Greece, Germany, England, Netherlands and Africa. In Petosky's final interview question, Stapp was asked if there is a message he would like to send to the troops and he replied, "Keep fighting the good fight in every capacity. Know that we love and appreciate you for the sacrifices you've made. You're all heroes, and we're taking that message back home, and we're going to scream it from the mountaintops. Keep rocking on."
