Vintage Guitars Find New Home

Vintage Guitars Find New Home

SHARON, Pa., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- A collection of nearly 100 vintage guitars have found a new home on the web at http://www.rosewoodvintageguitars.com/.

Rosewood Vintage Guitars is a new business that launched its website while simultaneously working on its brick-and-mortar presence. The collection selectively includes only quality brand names in both acoustic and electric guitars such as Gretsch, Fender, Rickenbacker, Dobro, Martin and Gibson. In addition to guitars, the website offers mandolins and banjos.

"I've followed my passion and created a place where musicians can find the guitar they've been wishing for since they were a kid," explained Tom Sed, an owner of Rosewood who has been playing guitar since he was 7 years old. "My vision is to offer only gently played, quality guitars, mandolins and banjos. Mostly vintage, although some pieces are newer, they have history, beauty and sound that goes unmatched. It's a world that I, like a sea of other guitar players, dream of." Rosewood's mission statement is to match those gently played, beautiful instruments, each with their own histories and still offering a lifetime of enjoyment, with good homes. "To us, good homes are those that appreciate music and recognize the beauty vintage instruments hold. And if the house is full of music, well that's even better," stated Sed. Sed further explained that his experience has shown vintage guitars to be a great investment, as the value on many pieces has steadily increased.

http://www.rosewoodvintageguitars.com/ includes a blog spot called "tomsedwhat," where Sed discusses not only instruments, but performers, performances, recordings and the like. "The customer will drive the blog. We'll talk about what's important to them, and if they find a guitar here that's right for them, then my mission truly has been accomplished."
