Open Casting Call for Season 9 of 'The Ultimate Fighter'

WHAT:

The UFC and Spike TV will hold an open casting call at The Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare Hotel in Rosemont, IL for Season 9 of the wildly popular series, "The Ultimate Fighter." This season the series will be casting mixed martial artists in the lightweight (155 lbs) and welterweight (170 lbs) divisions. Must be 21 or over to participate.

Monday, October 27, 2008
Registration opens at 9 AM CT; Tryouts at 10 AM CT.
Media encouraged to arrive at 10 AM CT.

WHO:

UFC President Dana White will oversee the tryouts with executive producer Craig Piligian, co-executive producer Andrea Richter and Spike TV's senior vice president of sports and specials Brian Diamond.
