ATLANTA, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- 2008 marks the third year for the BET Hip-Hop awards in Atlanta. Some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop are set to shut the city of Atlanta down. Hosted by funny man Katt Williams, the third annual show will tape on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center. The show will premiere on Thursday, October 23, at 8:00 p.m.

Thereafter, the official BET Hip-Hop awards after party will feature two of the biggest names in the world of Hip-Hop. #1 rapper T.I. will rip the stage for a historic performance. This monumental performance will be hosted by multi-platinum rapper Lil' Wayne. The historic event is presented by Jacob York, Felix Murry, T.I.G. and Dee Money presents "Destination Saturdays" at DreamzATL. They are throwing the biggest event ever!
