Sean Hannity Enters Long-Term Radio Co-Syndication Deal

Citadel Broadcasting Corporation's A-B-C Radio Networks, Clear Channel Radio's Premiere Radio Networks and Sean Hannity have announced an unprecedented syndication arrangement for The Sean Hannity Show. Effective December 28, A-B-C Radio Networks will continue syndicating the program on Citadel-owned stations while Premiere Radio will syndicate the program on Clear Channel-owned stations as well as radio stations not owned by either company. Advertising sales for the program will be led by Premiere Radio, which will begin selling inventory for 2009 forward, effective immediately. Going forward, Premiere Radio and A-B-C Radio will strategically join forces in special cases.

Deloitte Survey: Challenging Back-to-School Shopping Season Ahead

Higher gas and food prices will cause a significant number of consumers to spend less this back-to-school shopping season and will also cause consumers to change where and how they shop, according to a new survey from Deloitte.

Due to these economic concerns, 71 percent of survey respondents said they plan to spend less on back-to-school items this year. Almost half plan to reduce their household spending by more than 100 dollars.
