DALLAS, July 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- From the first javelin thrown to the last volleyball spiked, AT&T will be delivering more ways for fans to watch all of NBC Universal's coverage of world-class action of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced a sweeping multifaceted agreement with NBC Universal that will, among other content-related initiatives, provide customers with extensive access to all NBC Universal Olympic Games coverage using all three AT&T screens -- the TV, the PC and the wireless device.

AT&T's Olympic-related offerings, in agreement with NBC, will include:
-- Wireless. Beginning Aug. 8, AT&T Mobile TV customers will be able to watch around-the-clock NBC coverage of the Olympics, including live competition footage, via the NBC Olympics 2Go mobile TV channel. AT&T Mobile TV is powered by MediaFLO USA and provides broadcast-quality television available on select AT&T handsets in 58 markets around the country. In addition, available today, AT&T's wireless subscribers can access top stories, polls, photos and medal counts through the new NBC Olympics Mobile Web site through AT&T MEdia(TM) Net. This will include real-time results and event schedules during the Olympic Games. Customers can also sign up to receive breaking news alerts on their handsets from NBC through the Olympic Games, from medal results, athlete news and more.
-- Television. AT&T U-verse(SM) TV customers can access robust NBC Olympics on demand content including a wrap-up of the best events of the day as well as on-demand access to between 15 and 20 unique events each day. Additional on-demand content will include memorable moments from past Games, athlete features, Beijing previews and more. Further, from now through the Beijing Closing Ceremony, U-verse customers will have access to a new NBC Olympics Interactive feature. This single on-screen location will offer the latest headlines, multifeed, live Olympic Games programming, a medal tracker and bios of Team USA athletes.
-- Broadband. Later this summer, AT&T High Speed Internet customers who visit http://www.att.net/ will be able to access NBC Olympics on demand content, as well as download interactive widgets from NBCOlympics.com. Beginning Aug. 8, more than 20 live feeds covering a variety of the most popular Olympic sports will be available to AT&T High Speed Internet subscribers on NBCOlympics.com.
In addition to Olympic-themed content, AT&T U-verse TV has expanded its HD channel lineup under the multifaceted new agreement with NBC Universal. Specifically, AT&T now offers the programmer's HD channels, adding USA HD, SCI FI HD, Bravo HD and CNBC HD to NBC HD and Universal HD.
AT&T U-verse TV will also offer NBC Universal's Video On Demand (VOD) content, and AT&T U-verse OnTheGo customers will be able to access CNBC, MSNBC and NBC Universal short-form channels.
AT&T is an official sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Team and provides significant financial support, products and services to the U.S. Olympic Committee. AT&T will also serve as the official telecommunications services partner of the U.S. Olympic Team for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
