People Across the Country Rate 'Talking Stain' Ad as Their Favorite Super Bowl Ad

CINCINNATI, Feb. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- YouTube announced today that the Tide to Go(R) "Talking Stain" ad was selected by consumers as the number one ad in their 2008 Super Bowl advertising poll. The YouTube AdBlitz is a program where users can watch and vote on Super Bowl commercials and is one of the largest consumer polls for Super Bowl ads. This year's contest received more than 20 million video views and 900,000 votes for the 63 ads that aired during the Super Bowl. Tide to Go received the highest number of votes and an average 4-1/2 out of 5 stars rating. Since its debut on February 3rd, Tide to Go's award winning ad has received widespread acclaim, including a Top 10 Finish from USA Today's annual "Ad Meter."

Tide to Go's Super Bowl ad, created by Saatchi & Saatchi of New York, provides a humorous look at the consequences of embarrassing stains, with a "talking stain" overshadowing a job candidate's interview. The ad also served as the launching pad for a new digital campaign created by Digitas which includes a microsite -- www.mytalkingstain.com -- where consumers can create their own 'spoofs' of the Talking Stain ad. The consumer-generated ads are designed to showcase how Tide to Go performs instant stain removing miracles and raise awareness of the variety of "stain-based" occasions that people encounter every day. Consumers can enter the Talking Stain ad contest until March 9, 2008, and the winning consumer ad will be chosen to air on Prime Time television later this year.
