2008 Honda Civic Tour Featuring Panic At The Disco Sells Out Shows Coast to Coast

Additional Nationwide Performance Dates On Sale

Tickets Go On Sale Feb. 16, With Access to Special Pre-Sale Tickets Beginning Feb. 13 Through www.hondacivictour.com

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2008 Honda Civic Tour (HCT) featuring Panic At The Disco is one of the hottest tickets in town, selling out shows on both coasts and announcing additional dates. With tickets going fast, a second set of dates will go on sale Feb. 16, and fans will have a chance to snap up tickets in a pre-sale on Feb. 13 by visiting www.hondacivictour.com. The nationwide trek, which begins April 10, will take Panic to more than 40 cities, with support acts Motion City Soundtrack, The Hush Sound and Phantom Planet along for the ride.

Due to overwhelming demand a second show has been added at San Francisco's Warfield Theatre, on April 11, New York's Roseland Ballroom, on May 8, and at Chicago's Congress Theatre, on May 24. Tickets for the San Francisco and New York dates are on sale now, while the second Chicago date goes on sale on Feb 16.

"We're really glad our fans are as excited as we are for this year's Honda Civic Tour," said Ryan Ross of Panic At The Disco.

This year's Honda Civic Tour is rolling out an environmental action plan in which tickets themselves will equal action: For every Honda Civic Tour Panic At The Disco ticket purchased, $1 will go into a fund designated for nonprofit tour partners Reverb and Global Inheritance. Selected by Panic At The Disco, Reverb (a leader in the "greening" of concert tours) and Global Inheritance (a champion of progressive causes with a tight connection to youth subcultures) are collaborating to engage audiences in fun, fan-friendly, interactive exhibits during the tour. Additionally, this collective will make a substantial contribution -- in the name of the 2008 Honda Civic Tour with Panic At The Disco -- to a cause to be determined by the end of the tour. The beneficiary will be selected on merit and its potential to have a lasting impact on the generation-defining environmental movement.

The video for the first single off Panic At The Disco's upcoming release, Pretty. Odd., premiered yesterday on "TRL." Titled "Nine In The Afternoon," the video was directed by Shane Drake, who also helmed the band's 2006 MTV Video Music Awards Video of the Year, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." Pretty. Odd. hits stores nationwide on March 25.
