David Hillman Named Vice President, Reality Programming, Lifetime Networks

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Lifetime Networks has promoted David Hillman, who played a key role in the success of the new reality series "How to Look Good Naked," to Vice President, Reality Programming.

Hillman is based in Los Angeles and reports to Jessica Samet, Senior Vice President, Reality Programming, Lifetime Networks. In his new position, he will continue to be responsible for developing and overseeing reality programming at the Network.

Lifetime's current slate of reality series include: "How to Look Good Naked" and "Matched in Manhattan," both overseen by Hillman, as well as "Top This Party: Orange County" and "Top This Party: Las Vegas," airing Fridays from 9-11 PM (ET/PT).

In making the announcement, Samet said, "David is an invaluable member of the reality programming team. He's a seasoned and sharp executive with a wealth of unscripted programming experience. This promotion is richly deserved."

He joined Lifetime in February 2005 as Senior Director, Reality Programming. Prior to that, Hillman was Supervising Producer of SoapNet's "I Wanna Be A Soap Star." His other credits include: Supervising Producer of Lifetime's "What Should You Do?;" Producer of The Travel Channel's "Jimmy Carter's Plains, Georgia" and Senior Producer of ABC & A&E's "Behind Closed Doors with Joan Lunden." Hillman began his career as an agent trainee at William Morris.

Hillman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and International Relations from UCLA.
