Barack Obama Wins Big in AtomFilms' 'Kung-Fu Election' Primary
Democratic Sensation Polling at 25% after 1.4 Million Plays of Cutthroat Political Game
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- In a defining presidential primary moment, Barack Obama has received another important endorsement, this one from AtomFilms' online audience. Obama has emerged as the clear favorite in Atom's enormously popular "Kung-Fu Election" game (www.kungfuelection.com). After 1.4 million total plays since January 3, more of the game's players have chosen Obama than any other candidate to take into battle against the other presidential contenders. "America's Mayor" and recent also-ran Rudy Giuliani drop kicked his way to the top of the heap among all Republicans.

"Kung-Fu Election" invites players to choose their favorite candidate among the top eight options across both parties and take them into battle against a political enemy. Options include Democratic frontrunners Obama and Hillary Clinton as well as their Republican counterparts John McCain, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee. The would-be presidents duke it out with an array of special weapons and Kung-Fu moves that will leave only one man - er, person - standing. (Here's a hint: watch out for Hillary's secret weapon - angry hubby Bill!)
Obama was selected as the candidate/fighter-of-choice by 25% of all players, with his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton selected only 13% of the time. The Republican list contrasts with the "real-world" polls, with Republican dropout Rudy Giuliani at 21%, and current "real-world" frontrunners John McCain and Mitt Romney battling for last place.
A full breakdown of the Kung-Fu Election returns follows:
- Barack Obama: 25% of all game plays
- Rudy Giuliani: 21%
- Hillary Clinton: 13%
- John Edwards: 9%
- Bill Richardson: 9%
- Mike Huckabee: 8%
- Mitt Romney: 8%
- John McCain: 7%
